UPS & power protection

UPS and inverter equipment selection, installation coordination and configuration for business IT, networking and electronic systems in Albania.

BUILT AROUND YOUR SITE

Decide what must keep working when the power stops.

A UPS or inverter needs to support the right equipment for the time you require. We review the load and its dependencies before recommending a suitable arrangement for networks, recording and servers. Runtime estimates, operating checks and electrical installation responsibilities are stated separately.

THE WORK, MADE CLEAR

A typical sequence. We agree the actual work with you.

A defined protected load

Identify the devices that must remain available and the supporting equipment they depend on, including switches and network links.

Capacity and runtime considered together

Compare the proposed load with suitable equipment ratings and manufacturer runtime information, allowing for the agreed future additions.

Clear operation and shutdown

Configure supported status or shutdown functions in scope, explain alarms and record who maintains the equipment and batteries.

UNDERSTAND THE PARTS

How the system comes together.

Choose a part to understand its role. These are system roles, rather than an installation wiring plan.

Equipment & dependencies

List the devices that need protection and their power requirements. A recorder may need its cameras and network switches to remain useful.

UPS or inverter selection

Check capacity, required operating time, supported battery arrangements and the installation environment. A VA rating alone does not establish runtime.

Supported operation

Confirm the complete protected chain and any monitoring or controlled shutdown functions. Fixed electrical connections require appropriate installation responsibilities.

Checks & maintenance

Record the agreed functional checks and distinguish estimates from measured results. Explain alarms, battery maintenance and the conditions that need review later.

Where are you starting?

Choose the situation closest to yours. The details help us plan the right next step.

Protect the connections as well as the recorder.

Follow the path from cameras or access points to the equipment they rely on. Decide whether the objective is continued local operation, remote access or both.

  • Which switches and links are essential?
  • Does remote access depend on other equipment?
  • How long is operation required?

Give the agreed systems a controlled stopping point.

A server requirement may focus on saving work and shutting down safely rather than running indefinitely. Check the chosen platform's supported management connection and shutdown arrangement.

  • Which applications must stop correctly?
  • What shutdown functions are supported?
  • Who checks recovery after power returns?

Review the whole installation for extended runtime.

A longer runtime request changes the equipment and battery discussion. Review the actual load, space and electrical arrangements before treating a larger battery as a complete answer.

  • What is the real load and duty?
  • Where will equipment and batteries be installed?
  • Who is responsible for electrical work?

DECISIONS THAT SHAPE THE WORK

Settle the important questions early.

What should remain powered?

Prioritise the business functions, then identify every device needed to provide them. Protecting one device while its essential switch loses power may leave the function unavailable.

How much runtime is enough?

Describe the operating objective first. Manufacturer runtime data relates to a stated load and configuration; any estimate should keep those assumptions visible, with measured checks identified separately.

What belongs in the installation scope?

State equipment supply, supported configuration and functional checks separately from building electrical work. Confirm space, access and any other installation dependencies before work starts.

AN AGREED SCOPE

Know what you will receive.

  • A protected-equipment list and stated load assumptions.
  • Selected models, battery arrangement and installation dependencies.
  • Included monitoring, shutdown and operating checks.
  • A handover covering alarms, maintenance and runtime assumptions.

The quotation confirms the equipment, work, exclusions and handover for your project.

Questions before you start.

Does a larger VA number mean longer runtime?

Not by itself. Capacity and runtime answer different questions. The connected load, battery configuration and condition must be considered when assessing how long equipment can operate.

Can you review an existing UPS?

Yes. Send the model, battery history if known, connected equipment and symptoms. We assess what can be checked and whether the current arrangement still meets the required load and operating objective.

Will the Internet keep working during a power cut?

Protecting your local router does not guarantee the provider's service. We identify the local equipment and external dependencies, then distinguish local operation from provider-dependent connectivity.

Equipment for this system.

A selection from the current catalogue. Compatibility, configuration, price and availability are confirmed for your request.
