Electronic systems

Find the system your site needs, from camera coverage and controlled entry to fire detection and audio. The linked pages explain the decisions involved; our services cover assessment, installation and continuing technical support.

CHOOSE THE WORK YOU NEED

Choose what the building needs to do.

Seeing an entrance, controlling a door and making an announcement are different needs. They may share infrastructure, but each needs its own equipment, controls and operating rules. We help turn those needs into a coordinated installation, with clear boundaries between the systems.

See and understand

Define CCTV viewing, recording and retrieval tasks for the areas and operators involved.

Manage entry

Plan access, attendance, hotel-lock or parking functions around the people, vehicles and daily routines at the site.

Inform and respond

Treat intrusion alarms, fire detection, ordinary audio and voice evacuation as distinct requirements with defined interfaces.

CCTV & Security

A useful CCTV system starts with a question: what do you need to see at each location? An entrance, a loading bay and a checkout need different views. We work through camera positions, recording and everyday access before building the equipment list.

Intrusion Alarms

A closed shop, an occupied home and a warehouse with several shifts need different arming routines. We plan intrusion detection around the areas to protect and the people using them, then define how an alarm is indicated and who receives it.

Access Control & Time Attendance

Staff doors, visitor entrances and hotel rooms have different rules. We install access controllers, readers, attendance terminals and hotel locks around those routines. The first step is to describe who should enter, when, and who manages changes.

Parking Systems

A parking entrance needs a complete sequence: recognise a vehicle or ticket, check permission, operate the lane and record the result. We plan ANPR cameras, controllers, barriers and ticketing around the traffic flow and the way the site is managed.

Fire Detection

Fire detection begins with the building requirements and the agreed design. We install and configure the specified panels, detectors, manual call points and alarm devices. Before work starts, the required design information, interfaces and review responsibilities need to be clear.

Voice Evacuation

Voice evacuation has a different purpose from everyday background music. We install and configure the specified voice alarm control, amplification, speaker circuits and operator functions against the project's design. Messages, zones, priorities and interfaces must be settled as part of that complete arrangement.

Audio Systems

A restaurant needs comfortable music, a conference room needs clear speech and a villa may need separate indoor and outdoor listening. We plan 100V distributed audio and low impedance systems around the rooms, sources and controls you need. Audio is a standalone system, with hospitality as one of its applications.

A CLEAR SEQUENCE

What happens from here.

Choose a step to see what it involves.

Site requirements

List the places to monitor, access points, listening areas and required operator actions before selecting devices.

Individual systems

Choose the functions, locations and suitable equipment for each system rather than relying on a general security label.

Agreed connections

Check the exact devices and interfaces where systems need to exchange information or trigger a defined action.

People and controls

Demonstrate the agreed daily tasks, identify responsibilities and document what was installed and tested.

Where are you starting?

Choose the situation closest to yours. The details help us plan the right next step.

Solve a specific requirement well

A camera upgrade or door-access installation can stand on its own. Establish what it needs from the network, power and existing building before agreeing the work.

  • Required viewing or operating tasks
  • Equipment to retain
  • Connections and access needed

Plan the shared infrastructure early

Coordinate routes, rack space and device locations while keeping each system's technical requirements visible. Name the functions that must work across system boundaries.

  • Separate brief for each system
  • Shared cable and equipment spaces
  • Exact integration actions and tests

Agree a practical sequence

Reception, shops and guest areas may need to remain in use. Identify working areas, access windows and the checks required before returning each area to operation.

  • Areas that must remain available
  • Work windows and access contacts
  • Temporary arrangements and handover stages

DECISIONS THAT SHAPE THE WORK

Settle the important questions early.

Which system is the starting point?

Use the result you need: CCTV for viewing and recording, access control for permissions, ordinary audio for listening and announcements. Follow the dedicated solution pages for the detailed choices.

Do the systems actually need to integrate?

Describe the intended action, such as an operator seeing an entrance call and releasing a door. Shared branding or a network connection alone does not establish that function.

Who decides the safety-related requirements?

Fire detection and voice evacuation need their own project design and responsibilities. Confirm the applicable requirements with the responsible parties before equipment and interfaces are finalised.

AN AGREED SCOPE

Know what you will receive.

  • A system-by-system equipment and location schedule.
  • Specified installation tasks and confirmed interface requirements.
  • Functional checks agreed for each system and integration.
  • Operating guidance, records and support responsibilities at handover.

Questions before you start.

Can a project use several manufacturers?

Yes, subject to the functions required and the compatibility of the exact products. Each proposed connection needs a defined interface and a practical test.

Is hospitality a separate technical system?

Hospitality describes an application. A hotel can need access control, Wi-Fi, audio, VoIP and IPTV, but those systems retain their own requirements and controls.

Can you help after the installation?

We can discuss technical support or maintenance for the equipment in scope. Covered devices, access arrangements, tasks and replacement work are agreed separately.

Continue with the connected work.
